MOU SIGNING WITH WEST JAVA PROVINCIAL FORESTRY SERVICE

Yagasu – Yagasu conducted mangrove tree planting activity inviting teachers and students of SMP (Junior High School) 32 PGRI Pulau Kampai in coastal area of Pulau Kampai Village, Langkat, North Sumatra on Friday, 19 November 2021

The MoU was signed directly by the CEO of Yagasu, Mr. Bambang Suprayogi, and the Head of West Java Provincial Forestry Service, Mr. Epi Kustiawan.

This MOU contains agreements related to the development of climate disaster resilient villages in West Java. Yagasu and West Java Provincial Forestry Service are in to develop climate-disaster resilient villages in West Java.

This program will also implement a sustainable green economy program and directly involve community groups, both women and millennial farmers/fishers.

The event was attended by 8 Yagasu team members and 30 delegates from relevant government agencies at Taman Hutan Raya (Forest Park) Ir. H. Djuanda.

Based on the discussion during the meeting, it was decided that a follow-up meeting would be held between Yagasu staffs and the branch offices of the forestry service in West Java.
