Commemorating Kartini and Earth Day “Earth Day with Women Warrior Of Mangrove”

Yagasu, together with the LPHD group and PKK women in Pasar Rawa-Gebang Village planting mangroves to commemorating Kartini and Earth Day 2021. This activity is aims to demonstrate the importance of women role as Kartini in an effort to restore the earth through restoration activities and protection of mangrove forests for the ecosystem sustainability.
The Head of Pasar Rawa Village is very supportive of this activity, he is also very supportive in the activities of women who carry out this planting activity. “Hopefully, with the preservation of forest, people’s lives will be more prosperous, from one tree that we plant, it will produce thousands of benefits”.
The main implementer of Yagasu in this activity is the Female Staffs. Through this activity, it means that the role of women is very important in the efforts to implementing the restoration program, research and community economic empowerment carried out by Yagasu as well as the involvement of women’s groups in mangrove ecosystem area, Meilinda Suriani Harefa as Director of the Yagasu Aceh Program said that “Women are an important part of the successful implementation of earth restoration through mangrove restoration activities, multi-talented women who have multiple capabilities in looking after households through family economic stability from the use of natural resources in the mangrove ecosystem”.
Hoped that from this activity people can be realize that the importance of creating and protecting forests, for the welfare of the community and can be enjoyed by our children and grandchildren in Pasar Rawa Village. Said Mrs. Sumiati as the head of the PKK in Pasar Rawa Village.
