SUPPORTING KAMPUS MERDEKA AND MERDEKA BELAJAR PROGRAM, YAGASU SIGNED A MOA WITH UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MEDAN
Yagasu–The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between Yayasan Gajah Sumatra (Yagasu) and Universitas Negeri Medan was Located at Yagasu Office, on Tuesday, 30 November 2021.
Yagasu and Universitas Negeri Medan, represented by French Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, Universitas Medan signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA).
This MoA was signed by the Dean of Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Medan, Dr. Abdurahman Adisaputera, M. Hum. along with the Head of the French Language Education Study Program, Mrs. Dr. Tengku Ratna Soraya, M.Pd., and Program Director of Yagasu, Mrs. Meilinda Suriani Harefa.

The scope of the agreement includes: Organizing national/international seminars and workshops; Organizing training and development of work skills/internships for students; Joint study and research to develop curriculum, learning, and improve the quality of graduates.
This collaboration aims to utilize the capabilities of the resources owned by both parties to the maximum and as well as possible so that the coaching and development of both parties is more successful, especially in improving the Three principles of Higher Education and implementing the Independent Learning-Independent Campus program.
Both parties hope that the collaboration between Universitas Negeri Medan and Yagasu will make students more developed and care more about and love the environment.

Yagasu (Yayasan Gajah Sumatra) is a Non-Governmental Organization with over 21 years of practical experiences on biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration and protection, climate change mitigation and adaptation, capacity building, environmental education and local economic reconstruction through the facilitation of generating income for local communities on green livelihoods.
