YAGASU Capacity Building
“Building the Capacity and Ability of Professional Conservationists”.
The capacity building which took place from Monday (14/06/21) to Sunday (20/06/21) has been well implemented, the theme for this capacity building is “Building the Capacity and Ability of Professional Conservationists”
Capacity building began with an opening hosted by the Yagasu program director, Mrs. Meilinda Suriani Harefa, which was continued by Yagasu seniors and managers who explained the material and provided training on the use of the Yagasu application which is used for land assessment and monitoring, strengthening the preparation of technical and financial reports, good management of Yagasu’s assets, and basic training in taking photos in the field.
In this capacity building, also invited seniors in developing creativity in the environment, Joni Kurniawan who provided training on leadership, teamwork, and communication techniques so that staff can optimize system thinking, analysis, consistency, and honesty. Yagasu also invited a photography expert, Andi Lubis, who provided training on photography or documentation of activities using cellphone media so that the team in the field could more easily optimize the camera on their smartphone and produce even better photos.
