MANGROVE CARBON ACCOUNTING RESEARCH
Yagasu (Yayasan Gajah Sumatra) is a non-governmental organization that was established on July 17, 2001. Initially the activities of this institution were in the field of elephant conservation. Since 2006 Yagasu has changed its management structure and legalized its name as a legal entity to become Yagasu Aceh. Now the foundation, which operates as a Non-Government Organization, focuses on restoring the mangrove ecosystem into a good ecosystem to support biodiversity, society and climate, developing programs and conducting scientific research aimed at protecting the environment and developing community programs.
